I Call My Dog's Butt, "Tussi"

Taking another break

So my reader[s] can’t think of any movies right now, so I was told to write about my favorite actors.  Okay, so mainly I only have favorite male actors.  Most of you know who they are.  But I’ll write about them anyways.  P.S. This is in no specific order.

1) Hugh Jackman – First off, we all know I think he’s the hottest man on earth.  But I also like him because he’s a great actor (and singer and dancer).  He does a fantastic job as Wolverine in the X-Men movies, and I can’t wait for the Wolverine spin-off movie to come out.  He has also done some chick-flick movies, which I like and I’ll admit that.  Someone Like You and Scoop.  Someone Like You has Ashley Judd and Greg Kinnear in it.  It’s good.  Hugh’s character is a tv producer/writer and coworkers with the other 2, but he really is a man-slut.  In Scoop, Scarlette Johannson thinks he’s a murderer, but falls in love with him.  It’s funny.  Woody Allen is also in it.  A few years ago, Hugh was on Broadway playing Peter Allen (a gay Aussie singer/songwriter) in The Boy from Oz.  My mommy got us tickets.  We were way in the back, but I could still see him and I wanted to touch him, but I didn’t.  He was so good in it.  It’s one of my favorite shows.  Right after the show, we left, and the next day when my mom went into work, her boss said that he was getting out of his play that day and saw Hugh giving autographs!!!  I was dissapointed that I missed him.

2) Harrison Ford – I do not think this man is hot, let’s get that out of the way.  But I love him.  He stars in my favorite movie trilogy, Indiana Jones.  It’s soon to be a quadrilogy.  He’s awesome.  He’s also Han Solo in my beloved Star Wars.  I’m going to get this off my chest and say that I don’t care what people think about him and how he always does the same roles.  He is still a better actor than any of them.  The reason he’s played Jack Ryan so many times is because they are Tom Clancy movies.  You are allowed to do that.  I do sort of think it’s weird about the fact that he’s dating Calista Flockhart.  Everytime I see her in The Birdcage I think of that.  But really, this man started out acting in school, became a carpenter, and then hit it big time with the nerd movie.  Give him credit, he’s awesome.

3) David Duchovny – We all no why I like him, I also believe he’s gorgeous.  David isn’t a movie star, but he has done his fair share of movies.  Oh, and he was lead role of the X-Files.  That’s right.  I love that show and I don’t care who knows it.  Anyways, my favorite movie that he’s in is Kalifornia.  It’s so good.  Brad Pitt is in it, ladies!  It’s such a great movie and a must see.  David plays a writer who is writing a book about famous murders across the US and he goes cross country with his gf and carpools with some white-trash played by Pitt and Jewliette Lewis.  I won’t continue, because you need to see it.  Let’s not forget the X-Files movie.  But that was mainly an episode that was 2 hours long.  He was in Evolution which was crappy, but I still enjoy it.  David also directs and writes.  He just did a movie called House of D.  I didn’t see it, but I should.

That’s all I’m going to do.  They’re my top faves.

Dancing penguins?

Before I begin, I just want to speak to Amanda F. for a moment.  Amanda: It’s 13 going on 30, even I know that.  I have never seen it so I can’t review it.  And I don’t want to leave the Disney Channel on to wait for High School Musical because I don’t like any of the TV shows on it.  But I am taking your suggestion of Happy Feet.

I saw this in the movie theatre with a few of my friends.  We missed about 10-15 minutes of it because we thought it started later than it actually did.  But we got there in time.  I’m going to be honest with you and say that the only reason I wanted to see it was because Hugh Jackman was doing a voice over.  I know, I’m a loser, but he’s so hot, I don’t care if you can’t even see him.  But anyways, the dancing was awesome.  What they did was, they took real dancers and put sensors on them.  The dancers did their thing and the sensors relayed the info back to the computer.  So the penguins were really dancing.  It wasn’t computer animated, only their bodies were.  There’s a Stevie Wonder song in the movie that they play a lot which I really like, it’s called “I Wish.”  It’s a fab song, I suggest you preview it.  Apparently people thought it was too long, but I didn’t notice, though I don’t think they were lying.  It was really cool how they depicted the life of a penguin for humans to understand.  And they all had to develop their own song for mating.  Of course the main character, Mumble, played by Elijah Wood, couldn’t sing.  That’s why he danced.  I probably won’t buy this when it comes out on DVD, or if it is out all ready, but I do suggest that you see it.  It’s a feel good kids/adult movie.

More please.
