I know that everyone who reads this feels the same way. Whenever you go see a movie in the theater, you always get excited when the coming attractions come on, and you get upset when you get there late and miss them. Well, I am going to review a few upcoming movies for you. I haven’t seen them yet, so I am doing this through what I know. Don’t judge me, please.
The first one:
Hannibal Rising. This looks really good. I liked the other Hannibal Lector movies, and this completes the set. I want to see it, but I’m afraid that there will be a lot of gore, and I’m not into gore. But I love prequils and seeing how people got their start. In this movie it’s about Hannibal when he was little during one of the World Wars. Germans (I believe) kill his family, so he takes revenge against the soldiers who did it. Along the way, we see how he becomes a doctor, and how he starts eating people, and such. I think that the person playing Hannibal this time will be very good. If it’s not good at all, then a whole bunch of people will be dissapointed. You probably don’t need to see any of the Hannibal movies before seeing this, but I suggest you do. And if not all of them, at least Silence of the Lambs.
Second:
Norbit. This looks like a funny movie. I always enjoy when Eddie Murphy does all the different roles, and he dresses up so you can never even tell that it’s him. But the fat lady he plays looks pretty funny in this movie, by what I have seen through previews and trailors. If you enjoy a good laugh, go see it. I hope it’s good. P.S. Eddie Murphy’s brother is an actor on the Chappelle’s Show. Little known fact.
Third:
Music and Lyrics. This is a Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant movie. I like Hugh Grant now than I did in his earlier years. He had horrible hair and this nervous personality. He still has a little bit of the nervousness, but he has better hair, now. But everytime I see him, I think of the time he picked up a prostitute and got arrested for it and I see that horrible mug shot. But he has some funny roles sometimes. I think this might be good. Another chick flick for the vault. I think the 2 actors will have some okay chemistry on screen. Let’s hope it’s a good one.
Fourth:
Bridge to Terabithea. This used to be a book and I read it in elementary school, I think. I know I read it though. However, I don’t remember anything except for the end, which I won’t ruin. But if the ending is NOT in the movie, I will be thoroughly dissapointed. The girl is played by the girl who played Violet Beuregarde from Charlie and Chocolate Factory. Not sure about the boy, though. The special effects look good. And the creatures in Terabithea are supposed to resemble people from the childrens’ real life. I saw some special on it, and they did a good job, from what I saw. I probably won’t see this, but if you have children, or liked the book, I suggest you go.
That’s all for now.
