I received an apology from Amanda for requesting that last movie. She has given me another, which I like and am not afraid of, though when I was little, I was.
Drop Dead Fred. Please tell me you’ve seen this movie, because I am going to spoil it for you. It’s so good. It’s about this woman who is having all these problems (she got fired from her job/marital problems) and she moves back in with her bitchy mom. When she returns home, she reopens a jack-in-the-box which held her childhood imaginary friend, Drop Dead Fred. He used to make her do all of the worst things ever. And now he’s back and she’s all grown up. He’s hilarious. Fred is played by a british comedian. Not sure of his name, though. I could look it up, but I won’t. Anyways, Fred keeps doing all this bad stuff such as smear dog poop on her mother’s newly cleaned carpet, and he sinks her friends houseboat. But her mom takes her to a psychiatrist and gets her some pills that make Fred go away. And she starts to take them! Finally he is gone, but in the end, there is a surprise. I won’t tell you. God, this is a great movie, it’s so funny. I don’t know what else to say except for the fact that it’s really funny. I wish I had an imaginary friend like Fred when I was little. But no, I was a nerd and my imaginary friends were celebrities. I know, I’m a dork.
Did you have any imaginary friends? If so, what/who were they? Do you still have any? I won’t call you crazy.
