Is anyone reading my blog or am I just typing for no one but myself? C’mon people! Since I have no movie suggestions yet again, I will be pulling one out from my own collection. It’s another silly one.
Has anyone ever been a camp counselor at an over night camp that lasts for the entire summer? I know of one person, but I don’t think she reads this. Well, they would understand about the movie I’m going to tell you about. The movie is Wet Hot American Summer. It was made in 2001 but it’s about the last day of a camp in Maine in 1981. The cast is hilarious. Michael Ian Black, Paul Rudd, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, and Chris Meloni are some of the famous cast members in it. It is a wonderful spoof of a camp. The main subject in the movie is about who loves who. If you haven’t found anyone to make out with by the end of the summer then you’re basically a loser. The counselors are the ones who are portrayed in this movie, except for a couple of campers. My favorite character is Michael Ian Black’s character, McKinely. He’s the best. Then there is Gene played by Chris Meloni. He has the best lines in the entire movie. I am also a fan of Amy Poehler’s character, Susie. She’s one tough “pro-, directer/choreographer.” The directors/writers are Michael Showalter and David Wain. They are funny guys and have done a few other projects. They have a show that was on Comedy Central called Stella that Showalter, Wain, and Black star in. I really suggest that you watch this movie. It will make you laugh. It is a really stupid movie, so be aware.
Please suggest! I don’t care if I don’t even know you.
