Okay, so I’m pretty sure a lot of people like this movie. I know I do.
Clueless. This movie put Alicia Silverstone in the spotlight (for about 20 minutes). What made her known, though were the Aerosmith videos. You know what I’m talking about? The trilogy. Alicia riding on the back of a motorcycle, and then another video with her and Steven Tyler’s daughter driving in a car. Okay, off topic. Back to Clueless. This movie introduced many to “teen slang” as I am going to refer it as. This is the way many teenagers spoke in the 90s. They said such phrases as “whatever,” “as if,” “phat,” and other things I don’t remember. However, not everyone acted like a retarded valley girl. The high school the characters attended was well known for having smart students. And they were smart. They said many intelligent things. I must say that this movie was funny and I enjoyed it. If there is a character named Cher in a movie, and it’s not the real person, I will like it. P.S. Brittany Murphy is in it. Yeah, she is. She plays the new student who likes rock bands and stoner guys. Alicia and her friend maker her over. However she still falls for the stoner dude. For all you Scrubs fans, Turk is also in this movie. I liked his character. He was this thug kinda guy, but he had many smart things to say. I don’t know why, but whenever there is a new high school movie, they always discuss the different cliques to the new students. And for some reason, I love that part. The reason I’m telling you this, is because they did this in Clueless. Don’t ask me why I like it, I just do. I can’t think of anything else to write. Oh yeah, it’s creepy when Cher and her step-brother start going out.
